Yuki TAKAMATSU is an Associate in ORION I.P.O’s Sagamihara office. His practice focuses on Patent prosecution, Opposition, Patentability opinion, Freedom-to-operate analysis and Due diligence in the areas of biotechnology and pharmaceuticals. He also has experience in large IP due diligence activities relating to product and corporate transactions against a large Japanese company.

Before beginning his legal career, he worked as a specialist of complex administrative procedure before the Japan Patent Office and has experience regarding appeal procedure before the appeal board and examination procedure. He is familiar with double patenting issue and assignment issue regarding merger by foreign company in the biotechnology and pharmaceutical fields.
